Countdown to kick-off!

Monte jumping

I have finally plucked up the courage to update my website on my own!! eek

After a very successful 2015 season we have all wintered well, all of the horses are now in work and feeling very fresh with a few squeals, bronks and grabbing of neck straps!!

We have some new additions to the Team in the human and equine form along with my long over due website update!! Grace Rout joined me last March as head girl, and has been a very important part of the Teams success in 2015. Although Grace is only 21 she is mature beyond her years and is very hard working, responsible and has usually ‘done it’ before I’ve asked. Clare Taylor joined us in December and is already proving to be a very important part of the Team. Clare’s experience, dedication, depth of knowledge and turbo drive will help keep everything running to the high standard we all strive to achieve!

I am very lucky to have an AMAZING string of horses for this season and cant wait to get started. Along with Ballingowan Diamond and Ballingowan Echo, I also own Evantos K, Deoch an Doris and Fread Needle. I am going to form an umbrella syndicate with some of my horses. This is a cost effective way of including people who want to be involved in eventing but cant afford to buy or run an event horse, to be involved in our sport. This will involve a monthly contribution towards their running costs, but not the responsibility of vets fees and buying the horse or big outlays each month.

Along with my horses, I have the lovely Harleys Comet (Tigga) owned by Lyn How, who will be aiming at a spring CCI**. Lyn has been a huge support to me over the last 2 seasons and has been very understanding with my plan with Tigga as he is not the easiest, but I believe he is exceedingly talented with a stupendous jump which will hopefully get us around a 4* one day!! Dungeon Hill who has competed at novice level previously, owned by Fee and Charlie Wilson joined us in December. We are getting to know each other well, and a spring 1* should be well with in our grasp. Fee and Charlie also have a homebred ex racehorse with us who we are re schooling.

Jan Povey and her daughter Vicky have joined us as liveries with 2 horses Libby and Pebbles. Vic will be aiming at JRN’s and we wish them the best of luck and look forward to helping with their progress.
